The Al — Amal Committee for the Voluntary Return of Sudanese from Egypt has launched a new integrated transport route, designed to facilitate the return of Sudanese citizens from Egypt. The initiative offers free air and land transportation, as well as an increased luggage allowance for families and individuals. The program aims to streamline the process for those returning to Sudan, ensuring a smoother transition back home.
Under the new route, eligible Sudanese will receive round — trip tickets for both air and land travel, eliminating the financial burden of returning. Additionally, the luggage allowance has been doubled to accommodate the needs of families, including essential household items. The Al-Amal Committee, in collaboration with Sudanese and Egyptian authorities, has implemented these measures to address the challenges faced by returnees.
This move comes in response to the growing number of Sudanese who have been seeking to return to their home country. The initiative is part of a broader effort to support the voluntary return process and to provide support to those returning. The Al-Amal Committee has also set up a support network to assist with reintegration into society, including job placement and access to essential services.
The program is expected to benefit hundreds of Sudanese returnees, offering them a more accessible and affordable way to return to Sudan. The initiative reflects the commitment of both Sudanese and Egyptian authorities to facilitating the safe and dignified return of their citizens.
