The Gabonese Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Gabonese Society of Nephrology, is hosting a two — day free kidney disease screening event across three cities in the country to mark World Kidney Day, according to a press release from the Gabonese Press Agency. From March 11 to 12, 2026, Libreville, Lambaréné, and Oyem will see a series of activities aimed at raising awareness about kidney health.
