LIBREVILLE, 28 March – Gabonese and foreign reporters paid final respects on Friday to Loïc Ntoutoume Ondo, the Gabonreview online journalist who died in the capital on 5 March at the age of 41.

Delegations from national and international media houses, alongside journalists’ associations, filed through the family home in Alibandeng, 1st arrondissement of Libreville, bowing silently before the open casket, the Gabonese press agency reported.
Ntoutoume Ondo leaves a wife, children and an extended family who requested privacy; the burial will take place on Saturday at Missolo cemetery in a strictly family-only ceremony.
