Africa Newsroom — The Agence Gabonaise de Presse (AGP) has been enhancing its capabilities through a series of training workshops, facilitated by a delegation from the Moroccan news agency, Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP). The delegation, led by Hicham Alaoui, the counselor to the director general of MAP, presented an analysis of the AGP’s performance and outlined potential improvements in content and team structure. During the event, which took place in Libreville on Tuesday, Alaoui emphasized the scope and objectives of the initiative, aimed at strengthening the AGP’s content and editorial teams.
The training workshops are part of an ongoing collaboration between the two agencies, seeking to share best practices and enhance the quality of journalism in Gabon. The AGP’s efforts to improve its operations reflect a commitment to delivering accurate and timely news to the public. The workshops are expected to have a lasting impact on the AGP’s ability to produce high-quality content.
