ASMARA, Eritrea — The Eritrean Ministry of Information has successfully completed a comprehensive three-month training program designed to enhance the technical proficiency of its staff and counterparts from the Ministry of Agriculture’s human resources department. The initiative, which engaged 29 participants, focused on mastering video camera operation, graphics, and sound editing.
Mr. Abdulahi Damer, the head of human resources development at the Ministry, highlighted the significance of the training in fostering the growth of the media sector through technological advancements. The program, executed internally, encompassed a range of topics, including video editing, graphics, sound, color correction, and presentation techniques, while also emphasizing creativity and innovation.
Upon the conclusion of the training, Mr. Asmelash Abraha, the Director General of Television, awarded certificates to the participants and recognized exceptional trainees with special awards.
The training program is part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to strengthen the capabilities of its personnel and partner institutions. The trainees have expressed their commitment to utilizing their newly acquired skills to contribute to the development of the media landscape in Eritrea.
