Johannesburg, South Africa — Despite facing market pressures and operational hurdles, Clicks Group has presented a robust financial performance for the six-month period concluding in February 2026.
The pharmaceutical and healthcare products retailer has reported a 6. 4% increase in headline earnings, reaching R1. 5 billion, and a 7.
4% rise in turnover to R24. 9 billion.

Despite this, the company is committed to expanding its store and pharmacy network, with plans to open additional outlets throughout the year and to introduce new concept stores.
The group has also been focusing on enhancing customer engagement through its loyalty programs, which have played a significant role in driving increased sales.
The company has noted a 6. 9% rise in pharmacy sales, attributed to strategic pricing adjustments and loyalty program initiatives. With a strong cash generation capability, Clicks Group has allocated R2.
7 billion to shareholders through dividend payments and share buybacks, reflecting a 14. 2% increase in the dividend per share to 886 cents.
The final cash dividend, totaling R1. 5 billion, was paid to shareholders in January 2026.
As Clicks Group continues to strengthen its operational efficiency and expand its market reach, it aims to maintain its leadership position within the healthcare and beauty sectors, ensuring sustainable growth and shareholder value.
