Gabon Receives Credentials from Two New Ambassadors. LIBREVILLE, Gabon — The President of the Gabonese Republic, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, received the credentials of two new ambassadors this week, according to a statement from the Gabonese Presidency.
The new ambassadors are Issa Boro from Burkina Faso and Ando Yoshio from Japan, both of whom are now officially accredited to the Gabonese Republic.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday and was conducted in accordance with diplomatic protocol. During the meeting, President Nguema extended warm greetings to the new diplomats and expressed his hope for the strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations between Gabon and their respective countries.
The discussions focused on enhancing friendship and cooperation in a spirit of mutual trust and respect for common interests.
Son Excellence Issa Boro, the new ambassador from Burkina Faso, will be based in Libreville. Similarly, Son Excellence Ando Yoshio, the ambassador from Japan, will also reside in the Gabonese capital.
The appointment of these new ambassadors is expected to further deepen diplomatic ties and foster economic and cultural exchanges between Gabon and Burkina Faso, as well as between Gabon and Japan.
