It is expected to create jobs for youth and women, stimulate small and medium-sized enterprises, and strengthen education and healthcare services.
With over 64,000 hamlets nationwide and 13,000 still awaiting connection, Tanzania’s rural electrification drive is a crucial step towards achieving universal energy access by the end of the decade. “Access to energy means access to progress — for every household, business, and dream in Kagera, “regional officials concluded.
