Libreville, Gabon — On March 30, 2026, Gabon’s Minister of Mines and Geological Resources, Sosthène Nguema Nguema, welcomed a delegation from the Managem group at a meeting in Libreville. The session was dedicated to assessing the progress of the Eteke gold mining project.
During the meeting, Managem presented the status of the exploitation permit G4-911 and detailed the preparations for production. Key topics included the development of infrastructure and the rehabilitation of roads to the project site. The delegation also discussed the progress of technical and environmental studies, emphasizing the project’s adherence to regulatory standards and environmental protection.
This review meeting is a part of the ongoing implementation of the Eteke project, reflecting a shared commitment between the Gabonese authorities and Managem to establish a sustainable partnership and foster growth in Gabon’s mining sector.
