The high — level discussions took place amidst the 35th Ordinary Session of the Council of Ministers of Defense and Security of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) in the Somali capital. Minister Fiqi expressed deep appreciation for Djibouti’s support in Somalia’s state-building process, singling out Djibouti’s involvement in the African Union Support and Stabilisation Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM). He highlighted the significance of this participation, emphasizing the strong bonds of brotherhood between the two nations.
