The EU ambassador for Gabon, Sao Tomé-et-Principe, and the Central African Economic Community (CEEAC), Cécile Abadié, highlighted the importance of the forum, which will include a civic engagement component, especially through the launch of the Impact project, designed to highlight the role of Gabonese civil society.
The Quinzaine de l’Europe will feature cultural activities such as film screenings at the French Institute of Gabon, educational contests at the Ba Oumar Lycée, and a celebratory dinner on May 8 to mark Europe Day.
