In the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s (DRC) Ituri province, over 80,000 individuals have been newly displaced between November 2025 and February 2026, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

The majority of these displacements, approximately 89%, are attributed to armed attacks and confrontations.
The most affected health zones include Rimba, with 16,500 displaced, followed by Logo with 10,000, and Fataki with 7,800.
As of February 28, the province hosts over 992,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs), with 38% located in displacement sites.
Additionally, more than 902,000 people have returned to their areas of origin over the past 18 months.
