In February 2026, the Health Cluster in Mozambique focused on monitoring key indicators for the humanitarian response plan (HRP) in the northern regions of the country. The cluster aimed to address three main objectives under the 2026 HRP, with 10 indicators to track. These activities were set to benefit a total of 409,968 individuals, accounting for 84.6% of the 488,967 people in need across 18 districts, including 15 in Cabo Delgado, 2 in Nampula province (Memba and Erati), and 1 in Niassa province (Mecula).
The cluster’s response plan, which covers the three northern provinces of Cabo Delgado, Nampula, and Niassa, is designed to respond to the prevalent epidemiological situation in the region. During February, the cluster’s partners carried out activities to address the health needs of the affected populations.
