Agadir, Morocco — The Digital Development Agency (ADD) and the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM) have inked a partnership agreement on March 26, aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of Morocco’s film industry. The agreement, signed at the ADD headquarters in Rabat, underscores the commitment to integrating digital innovation into the national cinematographic sector.
This strategic alliance is in line with Morocco’s New Development Model and Morocco Digital 2030 vision, reflecting a global shift towards digital and AI technologies. The ADD’s statement outlines the goal to foster expertise convergence, resource pooling, and the deployment of impactful joint initiatives, particularly in training, digital inclusion, and project support.
A pivotal element of the pact is the establishment of a modern information system. The ADD will aid the CCM in creating a system that simplifies administrative processes and enhances service delivery for industry stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and good governance principles.
The initiative is a joint commitment by ADD and CCM to develop an “innovative, inclusive, and sovereign digital ecosystem, “aiming to bolster the influence and competitiveness of Morocco’s film industry.
