Africa Newsroom, Libreville — The Société nationale immobilière (SNI) has initiated the sale of 2,500 residential plots across various locations in Gabon, an event marked by the presence of Vice-President Hermann Immongault and Minister of Housing, Habitat, Urbanism, and Cadastre, Mays Mouissi, at Essassa on Wednesday. The Gabonese Press Agency (AGP) reported that the plots, exclusively for residential use, are priced at 5,500 FCFA per square meter, with a standard size of 500 m², totaling 2,750,000 FCFA per plot.
The SNI’s initiative is part of an effort to provide affordable housing solutions for Gabonese citizens. The plots are being offered at Essassa, with the aim of supporting the country’s housing sector. The announcement comes as the government continues to address the housing needs of its population.
