Gabon: Global Shapers Hub to Open Doors in Libreville on February 13 LIBREVILLE, Gabon — The Global Shapers Hub of Libreville is set to host a public open day on February 13, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the FGIS conference hall in the Baie des Rois area, according to a communication from the organization. Officials commented on the matter. Multiple thematic panels are scheduled, including one on entrepreneurship with Catherine Teya épouse M’Bouoko Moutsinga, an expert in business law and director of CAT Consulting, and another on community engagement with Lionel Engonga, a lawyer and president of SOS Prisonniers.
A practical entrepreneurship panel will be moderated by Braddy Jordan Bidaye, a filmmaker and entrepreneur. Supported by the Ministry of Digital Economy, Digitalization, and Innovation, the event aims to inspire, connect, and mobilize students, young professionals, and entrepreneurs around impactful projects for the future of Libreville.
The Global Shapers Hub is an initiative of the World Economic Forum that brings together young leaders aged 18 to 27 committed to developing local projects with significant social, economic, and environmental impact.
Each hub operates as a community hub managed by volunteers, with the goal of inspiring, connecting, and transforming societies through concrete actions.
