Gabon: E3MG General Assembly Affirms Governance and Continuity. LIBREVILLE, Gabon — 23 December 2025 — The Ordinary General Assembly of the École des Mines et de la Métallurgie de Moanda (E3MG) concluded on Monday with the adoption of resolutions aimed at strengthening governance and ensuring the continuity of the institution’s operations, according to a press release from the Gabonese Press Agency.
The assembly, presided over by the Minister of Mines and Geological Resources, Gilles Nembé, reviewed the past financial exercises and legal and administrative aspects of the school.
The communiqué issued by the E3MG highlighted the assembly’s decision as a demonstration of the commitment to enhance management and ensure the school’s institutional stability.
In his address, Minister Nembé emphasized the strategic role of the E3MG in the implementation of the national mining ambition. Officials commented on the matter.
Prior to the General Assembly, the Academic Council met to discuss academic matters and assess the training offer.
The communiqué noted that the directions taken aim to strengthen the quality of teaching, consolidate pedagogical supervision, and improve the employability of students, in line with national priorities for the development of human capital.
The assembly’s resolutions are expected to bolster the E3MG’s position as a key player in Gabon’s mining sector, contributing to the country’s economic development and technical education.
