Cameroon: SDF Delegation Visits Likomba Disaster Zone Amid Loss and Devastation. BUEA, PAV — December 15, 2025 A delegation from the Social Democratic Front (SDF), led by its National Chairman, Hon. Joshua Osih, visited the Likomba area in the Tiko Municipality on Sunday, December 14, following a tragic fuel truck accident and subsequent fire explosion that took place on December 12.
The incident resulted in multiple fatalities, injuries, and widespread destruction of homes, businesses, and property.
The SDF delegation toured the explosion site, met with bereaved families, visited injured victims in the hospital, and engaged with residents whose livelihoods were severely impacted by the disaster.
The party expressed its profound condolences to the families of the deceased, wished a swift recovery to the injured, and assured the community of its solidarity during this time of profound pain.
