LIBREVILLE, 27 MARS 2026 (AGP) – The 8th national congress of Gabon’s Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement is underway at the Sainte Marie chapel in Libreville, as reported by the Gabonese Press Agency. The event, which commenced on March 26, 2026, is being held at the Saint Joseph de la quasi-paroisse Saint Albert-le-Grand.
The congress, which concludes on March 28, is marked by a series of religious activities including masses, conferences, and shared worship sessions. These gatherings are led by Bishop Eusebius Ogbonna Managwu Chinekezi, the bishop of the Port-Gentil diocese and president of the Episcopal Commission for Lay Apostolate.
