The topic of this year’s Eastern Economic Forum, held in the Russian city of Vladivostok, is “Far East 2030. Combining Strengths to Create New Potential”.

The Russian authorities have disclosed Vladimir Putin‘s plans for the Eastern Economic Forum 2024.

On September 4, the Russian president will hold talks with:

Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim;

China‘s Vice President Han Zheng;

Deputy Prime Minister of of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin;

Governor of Russia’s Primorsky territory Oleg Kozhemyako.

Putin will also view an interactive presentation of the results of the development of Russia’s Far East. He is expected to hold a videoconference with residents of Russia’s special economic zones known as territories of advanced development, and hold a meeting on issues of infrastructure development in the Far Eastern Federal District.

On September 5, the main event of the Eastern Economic Forum will be a plenary session with the participation of Vladimir Putin, Anwar Ibrahim and Han Zheng.
